November 25, 2020 - 1012 views

If you're looking for a great Black Friday deal with an ethical dimension, look no further than our friends at Crest Co-operative in Colwyn Bay and the Junction!

This Friday and on the day that many seek out seasonal offers, the team at Brierley House and on Douglas Road are promoting their Buy Nothing New Day which aims to boost the charity's funds and make a statement about how re-using and recycling is good for our planet and for our society in general.

On Black Friday and over the weekend through to Monday 30th November, there is a 20% discount on all pre-loved items which even before this further discount, represents remarkable value. This excludes new products and white goods.

John Harper of Crest said: "This Black Friday thousands of customers will be purchasing new furniture on sale, however Crest offer an alternative. We hope customers consider not consider taking part in Buy Nothing New this weekend."

"Crest divert approximately 17 tonnes of furniture every month, furniture that can be reused and given a new loving home. Crest are offering 20% off all preloved furniture this weekend and all monies go to supporting your local charity to provide employment, volunteer training, work placements for adults with learning disabilities and much more.

"Shop ethically this Black Friday and help your local community."

You can find Crest on Ferry Farm Road in Llandudno Junction and on Douglas Road in Colwyn Bay.
