North Wales is set to reach temperatures of up to 20 degrees celcius next week, prompting many people to head to the coast.

However, the Llandudno Coastguard is urging caution near the water. Over the Easter weekend, the Coastal Rescue Team had a busy time with two local patrols and three call outs.

A spokesperson said: "The call outs included an injured person on the beach at Penmaenmawr, a broken down vessel at Conwy Beacons Jetty, and a missing person in Towyn.

"We worked together with our colleagues at Bangor CRT, Welsh Ambulance Services, RNLI Llandudno Lifeboat, Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team and North Wales Police to ensure that each incident was dealt with swiftly and safely."

If you see anyone in danger, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
