In an unexpected move, tonight's Six Nations U20 match between Wales and Scotland at Stadiwm Zip World, Eirias Park is now to be held behind closed doors.
The Welsh Rugby Union has maintained an open dialogue with, and continued to seek advice and direction from, the National Assembly for Wales and other stakeholders, including the Six Nations, on this fast-moving issue.
Whilst medical advice remains consistent, the WRU decided that it is in the best interests of supporters, players and staff to fall in line with recent measures taken across the UK and global sports industries.
Organisers say that every effort has been made to stage this game and that all tickets purchased for the match will be refunded from Tuesday 17th March 2020, from the origin of ticket purchase.
The development comes on the back of news that the Guinness Six Nations Round 5 Wales v Scotland fixture, has now been postponed until further notice.
