Sadly Colwyn Bay FC went out of the Nathaniel MG Cup at the first hurdle after losing three players through injury before half-time and then having Cai Owen red carded in the second half.
The Seagulls took the lead in the Holywell Town game with Sam Downey's header after 22 minutes, but had to make three first half substitutions, with skipper Tom McCready having to be replaced after only four minutes play.
Jordan Carrington was then taken to hospital with a suspected broken collar bone and Kristian Platt also had to come off five minutes before half-time.
The red card for Owen on 65 minutes turned the game, with Holywell equalising almost immediately with a Danny Sullivan header.
Former Bay player Danny Andrews then got the home side's winner with a lob over keeper Andy Coughlin.
