Big game for Dylan Allshorn in a race for first win

Colwyn Bay travel to Holywell Town tonight (Friday Aug 12) with both sides looking to register their first league win of the new JD Cymru North campaign.

It is a particularly big game for Dylan Allshorn who was signed from Holywell in the summer and he faces his former team having shown good form for the Seagulls since his move.

Holywell, who had a top four finish last season and whose summer signings include the experienced Kai Edwards from Flint, drew their opening league game at home to Holyhead Hotspur 0-0 before losing 3-0 at Llandudno last week, but they will have been boosted by a 6-1 Nathaniel MG Cup win at Caersws last weekend helped by a hat-trick from former Bay stalwart Danny Andrews.

They beat Colwyn Bay in the MG Cup and in the league fixture at the 4 Crosses Arena last season, but the Seagulls won 1-0 at Holywell in April with a goal from Kristian Platt.

Admission prices at Holywell are: adults £7, concessions £4, Under-16s £3, Under-12s £1.
