Tourism business in Conwy are invited to join in a big water safety conversation ahead of the start of the main tourist season and summer holidays.
On Thursday, 1 July at 2pm Visit Wales hosts an hour long free online session which provides a wealth of useful and important information as the area prepares for what is expected to high visitors levels in light of on-going international travel restrictions.
Businesses will have the opportunity to hear from the RNLI and Adventure Smart. Speakers will also take questions at a Q&A panel.
Chris Cousens who is the Water Safety Lead for the RNLI in Wales will cover all the business resources that can be used including details of how to become an RNLI Water Ambassador this summer - a very simple way that a business can help spread the word and encourage safe visits.
Paul Donovan and Dr Emma Edwards-Jones from Adventure Smart will focus on safety in the outdoors and what a business can point towards to help visitors safely make the most of their time in Wales when enjoying activities such as open water swimming to hill walking.
