A man from Colwyn Bay has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for burglary and drug possession after stealing clothing and cigarettes from a property in Rhos-on-Sea.

Oliver Crossley also assaulted a police officer during his arrest.

Detective Inspector Rich Evans praised the quick response of officers and public support in apprehending the suspect within 48 hours of the incident, emphasising North Wales Police's commitment to combating crimes like burglary in the community.
