Colwyn Bay Op Limit arrest for drink-drive offences

North Wales Police in Colwyn Bay have arrested a driver for failing to provide a breath sample and driving without a valid license or insurance. The driver is now in custody and the vehicle has been seized.

As part of the force's Op Limit campaign in the run up to Christmas, officers are routinely checking on local motorists to ensure that vehicles are not being taken to the road by drivers who are not fit to be behind the wheel.

Drink and drug driving is condemned for endangering lives, lacking responsibility and burdening emergency services. Such actions put the community at risk of preventable tragedies.
