Could you be the new voice of Colwyn Bay Football Club?
While manager Michael Wilde has been busy strengthening the playing squad during the close season, there are opportunities to join with the club off the field too.
The club is on the lookout for a “passionate, energetic individual” to become the Matchday Public Announcer at The Blue Turtle Arena next season in the JD Cymru Premier.
Club director Connor Murphy explained that the role would involve announcing starting line-ups and substitutions, goals and creating a positive, lively matchday atmosphere.
“With a freshly installed speaker system and a buzz building around the stadium, we’re ready to elevate the matchday experience and we need someone who can bring it all to life,” he said.
“We want someone who’s confident behind the mic and comfortable working in front of a crowd.
“You should bring a natural sense of timing, clarity, and presence. If you’re a football fan with a flair for engaging an audience, you’re already halfway there.
“Preferably, you’ll be bilingual in Welsh and English, helping us represent and celebrate the proud culture of our community.
“With momentum building both on and off the pitch, this is your chance to be part of something exciting.
“As we grow, you’ll be right at the heart of it — helping shape the sound and spirit of Colwyn Bay matchdays. This is your mic moment.”
