Colwyn Bay conceded five second half goals to lose 6-1 away to League leaders The New Saints earlier this evening.
They were very much in the game at half-time after Sam Turner’s superb lob over TNS keeper Connor Roberts on 33 minutes cancelled out Jordan Williams opener inside the first quarter of an hour, but four goals in the space of 16 devastating second half minutes took the game away from them.
Adrian Cieslewicz scored two of them, with Brad Young and Ryan Brobbel netting the others, before Danny Redmond’s free kick added the home side’s sixth goal four minutes from the end.
Udi Akpan fired wide from Bay’s only real chance.
Manager Steve Evans said, moving forward, there were a lot of positives to take from his side’s disciplined first half performance.
