Local heritage sites will start to be reopened from next month along with places of historical interest from across Wales.
Unesco World Heritage Sites such as Conwy Castle will reopened by historical monuments body Cadw in August.
With guidance from Welsh Government, they began to reopen unstaffed, outdoor monuments at the beginning of July and will begin re-opening the larger manned attractions.
Cadw explained: "To do so safely, we’ve introduced a number of essential social distancing and hygiene measures including the creation of a compulsory online booking system, which will go live when our staffed sites begin to reopen.
"For a list of which sites are planning to reopen please visit our staffed site reopenings page. Specific dates for each site will be added as soon as possible.
"As our sites reopen, we are asking everyone to visit respectfully and responsibly at all times, this will allow us to protect the local communities of Wales, as well as the country as a whole.
"Please keep safe and well, adhere to the Welsh Government’s social distancing guidelines and keep checking the Cadw website and social media channels for further updates.
"We’d like to say a huge thank you to all of our members and visitors for their support during this very difficult time. We really appreciate it. Diolch."
