Are you a creative practitioner who is knowledgeable and passionate about Colwyn Bay, Abergele, Llandudno or Llanrwst?
Could you devise and deliver a project inspired by the cultural heritage of the town – maybe the mechanical elephants in Colwyn Bay, the world famous goats of Llandudno or the mysterious shipwreck that is revealed and recovered with the ebb and flow of the tide at Pensarn.
Conwy Council's take pART project is ready to receive your culturally creative ideas and today (Monday 11th April) is the deadline to submit your ideas and proposals.
"We are looking for a community participation project that will encourage footfall to the town, deliver skills to young people, enhance community pride in the town and, where possible, improve the visual amenity of the town (such as by use of empty shops).
"Projects should be bilingual and inclusive. We are particularly keen to hear from practitioners from more diverse backgrounds."
"We do have a tight timescale; the event and evaluation must be completed by the end of June 2022."
An all-inclusive fee worth £8,500 is available for each of the four commissions. Full details can be found at Conwy Culture | take pART Extra.
