Conwy local services re-open following firebreak lockdown

Conwy County Borough Council have confirmed that the majority of local services in Conwy will re-open following the ending of the firebreak lockdown on Monday (9th November).

Library Services

- Access to Computers

Leisure Centres
Leisure centres will re-open on 9 November. Book online at www.conwy.gov.uk/leisure or contact your local leisure centre for more information.

Household Recycling Centres

You can book an appointment to visit the Household Recycling Centres. Each household is allowed up to 3 visits to the sites per calendar month, to make sure that everyone who wants to use the centres can get an appointment. Book online at www.conwy.gov.uk/recycling or phone (01492) 575337.

Slipways

Slipways will re-open on 9 November. It is recommended that you carry out thorough safety and engine checks on your vessel before using it. Paperwork will to make sure vessels are registered and insured. Please make sure that you keep 2m social distance from anyone you don’t live with.

Tourist Information Centres

Llandudno Tourist Information Centre and Conwy Tourist Information Centre will re-open on 9 November, services are also available by phone, email and online at www.visitconwy.org.uk

Venue Cymru, Theatr Colwyn & Oriel Colwyn

- Theatr Colwyn will be open for film screenings. The theatre will be operating at a reduced capacity and following all health and safety guidelines surrounding the Covid pandemic. For information details of film listings please visit www.theatrcolwyn.co.uk
