Local elections in Conwy take place this Thursday, May 5th, and all residents are urged to use their vote.
From street maintenance, recycling and rubbish collection, social care and schools, to homeless services, transport, local parks and libraries… your Council delivers services and makes decisions every day on your behalf.
The way you vote can influence how these services are provided. Voting in a local election allows you to be part of change at a local level.
Iwan Davies, Returning Officer for Conwy Council, said: “The elections are a chance for you to have your say about who should represent you on Conwy County Borough Council and on your local community or town council.”

Polling Stations will be open from 7am to 10pm on Thursday, 5 May 2022.
Make sure you check the information on your poll card, as your polling station might have changed since the last election. You do not need your poll card to vote, but we encourage you to bring it with you to make the process quicker and more efficient.
Those voting in person on 5 May might see some public health measures in place at polling stations, similar to those in place in other indoor venues. Conwy Council say they will be following the latest public health guidance to make sure polling stations are safe places to vote.
Voters who have opted to vote by post must return their postal ballot pack by 10pm on May 5th or they can hand it in at their polling station if they don’t have time to return it by post.
