A Coronation Street favourite will headline this year’s Christmas pantomime in Llandudno.

Jack P Shepherd, best known for playing David Platt in Coronation Street, will star as the principal cast for Sleeping Beauty is announced.

He will be joined by Llandudno sisters Han and Fran, who return following their successful panto debut last year.

The pair, Hannah Roberts and Fran Cottington, reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2025 and won a UK Pantomime Association Award for Best Sisters for their performance in last year’s production.

This time they will play the Good Fairy Duo.

Also joining the cast are musical theatre performer Corrine Cherish as the wicked fairy Carabosse, Celyn Cartwright as the princess and Mark Beauchamp as the King.

Comedy duo John Evans and Simon Nehan will also return for the festive production.

The story sees Princess Aurora fall into an enchanted sleep after being cursed by Carabosse, leaving the rest of the cast to find a way to break the spell.

Jack P Shepherd has played David Platt in Coronation Street since 2000 and won Celebrity Big Brother in 2025.

Sleeping Beauty runs at Venue Cymru from 12 December, with performances continuing into the New Year.
