Conwy's Cabinet Member for Education, Cllr Julie Fallon has congratulated learners in the county on their A and AS level results.
She wished them success in their future careers and thanked their families, teachers, and support staff for their help throughout their studies.
In a statement earlier, Julie said: "I wish them all the best as they decide on their future careers, and I'm sure they will all join me in thanking their parents, families, our excellent teachers and support staff who have helped and supported them throughout their studies.”
Cllr Diane King, the council's cabinet member for Education, Children and Families in Denbighshire, said: “On behalf of the council, I would like to congratulate the pupils of Denbighshire that have received their A-level results today.
"This is a massive day for them, and is a huge achievement that helps shape their next steps.
"Pupils have once again this year worked very hard to get here, and I’d like to congratulate them all on this achievement.
"I would also like to extend my thanks to the staff that work tirelessly in our schools, and help make these days possible.
"There has been some fantastic partnership working to ensure that our students achieved the best results possible, and I would like to thank all those who have supported our hard-working students again this year.
"We would like to wish all learners the very best in their next steps; the future is wide open for them, and I’d urge them to grab it with both hands.”
Commenting on the results in the North West of the region, Cllr Dewi Jones, Gwynedd Cabinet Member for Education said: "The success of our young people with their results today is a clear reflection of their dedication and perseverance.
"It gives me great pleasure to congratulate them on reaching such important milestones, and extend my heartfelt thanks to the teachers and school staff who have played a key role in preparing them for these qualifications.
"As our students move on to new and exciting opportunities, I would like to wish them every success in their future careers."
