Organisations wishing to deliver projects to benefit local people in Conwy County are invited to submit an application to the new UK Community Renewal Fund.

The UK Government’s Community Renewal Fund is providing funding during 2021/2022 to support people and communities most in need across the UK and has been made available in response to the Covid emergency.

The objective will be to get communities across the country back on their feet after a turbulent period of disruption and uncertainty.

Conwy County Borough Council has been designated a lead authority and will be responsible for receiving and shortlisting the bids, and then paying grants to successful projects and managing their performance.

The decision on shortlisted project bids will be made by the UK Government.

Projects must deliver in line with the UK Community Renewal Fund prospectus, and align with at least one of these investment priorities:
- Investment in skills
- Investment for local business
- Investment in communities and place
- Supporting people into employment

Bids must be submitted to Conwy County Borough Council at cyllid@conwy.gov.uk by 5pm on 14th May 2021.
