North Wales Police have charged a 57-year-old male following the serious road traffic collision which occurred on the A487 Treborth Road, Bangor at approximately 8.30pm, Tuesday 23rd September.
Stephen Mills, of no fixed abode, has been charged with three offences of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has been remanded in custody and will appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court on Friday 26th September.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “First and foremost, my thoughts go out to the three young people who remain hospitalised following this crash, and I would wish to thank those who came to the aid of the casualties.
“I commend the work of all emergency services in their response to this incident, the investigation team who have worked tirelessly, and our specialist officers who continue to provide support to their families at this time.
“I am extremely grateful to those who came forward following our media appeal, and ask anyone who may have CCTV, or dashcam footage of a white VW Golf being driven in the Beaumaris, Llanfairpwll, Menai Bridge and Upper Bangor areas between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday to come forward.”
