A man has passed away at the scene following a road incident on Anglesey last night.

The driver, in a blue Audi A3, was found on its roof in Llanddona, following a call the emergency services just after 6.30pm.

Authorities suspect a medical issue caused the incident, with no other vehicles involved.

Sergeant Leigh McCann of the Roads Crime Unit said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the man who has passed away.

“We believe that he suffered a medical episode and that no other vehicle was involved in the incident.

“However, we are carrying out enquiries to ensure this is the case and we are investigating the circumstances of this incident.

“We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or the events leading up to it and urge anybody who may have captured any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage to contact us as soon as possible.”
