Come pupils at Ysgol Eirias have been sent home after what is thought to have been a positive case of Covid at the school.

It is been reported that the entire year 9 group have been asked to leave the school whilst further investigations are undertaken.

A spokesperson from Conwy County Borough Council confirmed the action being taken by the school.

"We are aware of a confirmed case at Ysgol Eirias. The school is working closely with NHS Wales Test, Trace, Protect."
