Colwyn Bay Manager Steve Evans has added forward Sam Fowles to the Bay squad.
Sam came through the ranks at Connah’s Quay Nomads but has spent the last few years at University in the United States, where he played for the University of Montevallo in Alabama.
Steve Evans said: “Sam joins us having previously been in the USA playing. Having impressed in training, Sam’s quick, got good delivery and will bolster our attacking options.
“He’s an intelligent young man and I’m looking forward to working with him.
Earlier today, forward Jamie Cumming joined the club from Ruthin Town ahead of tonight's transfer deadline.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals in five games for Ruthin this season, including two in Monday night’s win 3-1 over Gresford Athletic.
A product of the Liverpool academy and previously with Brymbo, Jamie joined Ruthin in the summer of 2020 and last season scored 14 goals in the JD Cymru North.
He has also represented the Cymru North side and has been included in the squad for the friendly against the Republic of Ireland at the 4 Crosses Arena on Saturday.
Steve Evans said: “I’m really pleased to get Jamie in before the window closes. He’s one of the most exciting players in the Cymru North and has the ability to progress.
“He has a hunger to win and succeed, has a great work ethic and the quality to beat a player and score goals. He has all the qualities that we want to bring into our club to help us reach our goals."
