North Wales Police say that they have made their first arrests as part of their Christmas Anti Drink and Drug Drive Campaign.
Arrests made over the weekend include 3 instances in Bangor as well as single arrests in Betws-y-Coed, Felinheli, Dyserth and Deeside.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "Some people have already been charged with drink driving and will appear before the courts later this month.
"We're fully committed to help make the roads safer for all, and we’ll continue to target those who endanger their own lives and the lives of others. Please heed the warning."
