Santander is set to close 95 of its branches including four in North Wales, as more customers opt for digital banking.
The affected branches in North Wales are in Caernarfon, Holywell, Holyhead and Colwyn Bay, with the latter closing on July the 21st.
The move is expected to impact on local high streets and Santander customers. The closure of the Colwyn Bay branch has said to be particularly worrying for a town which has seen many shop and business closures over recent years.
About seven hundred and fifty staff members could face redundancy but the bank plans to continue opening "work cafés" for banking services in certain areas.
