North Wales Police have re-issued their appeal for witnesses after a woman remains in hospital with serious, life-threatening injuries following a road traffic collision in Llandudno on Saturday night
Officers received a 999-call reporting an incident at Cwm Place involving a grey coloured Seat Altea.
The female passenger of the vehicle was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd by Ambulance, but she has since been transferred to hospital in Stoke.
The driver – a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving offences including drink driving, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence and driving with no insurance. She has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Acting Sergeant Duncan Logan of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “The investigation to establish the cause of the collision is underway and we are appealing for anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or who may have seen the car being driven prior to the collision to contact us as soon as possible. We are also urging anyone with doorbell camera or dash cam footage to contact us.”
