The team at Llandudno's Lifeboat station reported a good outcome following reports that a dog was stuck in heavy rocks making up the sea defences at Rhyl earlier this week.
Volunteers from the station were tasked with joining the RNLI Rhyl team in efforts to free the stranded animal.
"We were tasked on Monday evening to Rhyl harbour to assist Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team and Flint Coastguard Rescue Team after a dog was seen suck in the rock armour.
"Thankfully the dog was successfully rescued and handed to the dog warden to trace the owner.
"Meanwhile, we conducted a search of the rock armour to ensure the owner hadnt become stuck or trapped themselves. Nothing further was found so we were stood down and returned to station."
