The deadline for grant funding supporting talented individuals in Conwy is fast approaching.

Applications are now being accepted until 24th January to help talented people in sport, education and the arts get to the next level.

The Excellence Fund can provide grants to individuals living in Conwy County who demonstrate ability in a range of sports and the arts with the aim of helping them reach their potential through training and development.

Grants are available to sports people who are competing at a national level or those involved in the arts like actors, dancers, musicians and visual artists. The funding can be used for training, workshops, courses, coaching or tutoring costs, equipment or travel.

Grants are offered up to the value of £1,000.

The Conwy Excellence fund has invested in excess of £15,000 in the last 12 months to 26 talented people in Conwy thanks to the scheme.
