Health and Safety Executive looking at Towyn funfair incident

A woman and a boy were injured on Saturday after a rollercoaster carriage derailed at a local funfair.

Terri Murray and her 10-year-old nephew required hospital treatment for their injuries after the car fell approximately 6ft to the ground.

The incident occurred at Knightly's Fun Park in Towyn while they were on holiday from Birkenhead on the Wirral.

The Health and Safety Executive is now moving forward with their inquiries.
