Horn misuse leads to Bay bike seizure and drug discovery

Today in Colwyn Bay, North Wales Police officers pulled over a motorbike rider for improper use of a horn, only to find that the bike was uninsured, untaxed, and had an expired MoT.

The rider was also in possession of a suspected class A drug. The bike was seized, and the drugs were taken off the streets.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "It was a bad day for the rider but a good pro-active stop for us resulting in an illegal bike being taken off the road and drugs being taken off of the street.

"So for those who often pipe up in the comments about police stopping vehicles and 'having nothing better to do' here is just one of many many examples of a routine stop for advice turning into something more significant that needs to be dealt with."
