Ice reaching North Wales as new weather warnings issued

Snow and ice are predicted to hit parts of Wales on Wednesday night leading to potential travel disruption.

The Met Office has issued yellow weather warnings for ice overnight into Wednesday and snow and ice from midday Wednesday to midnight Thursday, mainly in the South West.

In North Wales, ice is expected to reach the Conwy Valley and parts of South Gwynedd.

Forecasters warn of possible cancellations and delays for buses and trains, urging people to plan ahead for journeys and be cautious of treacherous walking conditions in some areas.
