A 25-year-old man has been charged in connection with theft of building machinery in Llanberis.

David Matthew Pugh, of Llainwen Isaf, Llanberis, is charged with theft and will appear at Caernarfon Magistrates Court on 13 January.

The machinery was reported as stolen from a site where DIY SOS were filming over the weekend. The items have since been found and returned to the team.

There will continue to be an increased police presence in the area for reassurance purposes.
