Llandudno Lifeboat celebrates Val Hicks’ 80th birthday

The fundraising team at Llandudno Lifeboat Station came together last week to celebrate a remarkable milestone for one of their longest-serving volunteers, Valerie Hicks, who turned 80.

During a recent fundraising planning meeting, Community Manager Catherine Tudor Jones presented Val with a beautiful bouquet of flowers as a token of appreciation for her dedication and hard work.

The team celebrated Val’s birthday while continuing their preparations for an exciting year of fundraising events in support of the lifeboat station.

Val has been an integral part of Llandudno’s fundraising team for many years, contributing her time and energy to help ensure the station has the resources it needs to save lives at sea.

Her commitment and enthusiasm have made her a cherished member of the team, and her fellow volunteers were delighted to mark this special occasion with her.
