Over 7,000 people joined the third annual Pride Event in Colwyn Bay yesterday, soaking in the sunshine and celebrating diversity with the LGBTQI+ community.

The event, put together by Together for Colwyn Bay and hosted by drag artist The Royal Serenity, drew in an impressive crowd.

Traffic buzzed into town as locals and visitors took to the Promenade and on the beach.

A spokesperson said: "Pride was a success with a record turnout, thanks to the hard work of Together For Colwyn Bay and various sponsors. The event saw a packed Promenade, filled with love, laughter, and community spirit.

"A big shoutout to the sponsors, partners, funders, performers, stall holders, and medical and security teams who made the event possible. A special thanks to the dedicated organising team and volunteers for their efforts!"

Colwyn Bay Pride wrapped up a weekend of record attendances for Prom Xtra and the Pirate Festival in Conwy.
