A man has sadly died in a fire which broke out earlier today in Colwyn Bay.

The victim who has not been named, was discovered in a first floor flat on Greenfield Road after a fire broke out just after 10.15am.

The road was closed whilst fire crews dealt with the fire.

The cause of the incident is now currently under investigation by North Wales Police and North Wales Fire Service.
