MS is full of praise for touring RAF exhibition in Llandudno

A recent RAF exhibition at a Llandudno church has been held up as an excellent experience for local people.

MS Janet Finch-Saunders MS visited the exhibition on Friday at Holy Trinity Church along with Clwyd West MS Darren Millar before it moved to another North Wales location.

The exhibition commemorated Wales’s role in the Battle of Britain ahead of the 80th anniversary of historic aviation battle.

Speaking after the tour Janet said: “The Battle of Britain is one of the most infamous periods of the Second World War and the RAF victory secured Britain’s freedom. As we approach the 80th anniversary it was fantastic to attend this RAF exhibition celebrating the Wales’s role in this pivotal moment.

“I was delighted to meet with Squadron Leader John Dunn at the Holy Trinity Church to be given a tour of the marvellous exhibition along with my Senedd colleague Darren Millar MS, Deputy Mayor, Cllr Greg Robbins and County Councillors Cllr Angie O’Grady and Tom Montgomery.

“Squadron Leader John Dunn explained how he has been tasked with bringing this incredibly informative exhibition right across Wales. His passion and knowledge of this conflict were clear, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank and commend him and the RAF for undertaking this task, providing residents across Wales the opportunity to learn about Wales’s important role in the Battle of Britain."
