Parents and students in Conwy are reminded of the 'no pass, no travel' policy on school buses starting in September.
Bus passes are necessary for students to have a designated seat on the bus and to ensure there is enough space for everyone.
Cllr Julie Fallon, Conwy’s Cabinet Member for Education explains: “It’s a message we remind everyone of at the start of the School term.
“The system has been in place for many years, and we’ve been in touch with schools and parents, including new users of school buses.
“Bus passes are colour coded and clearly show the pupil’s name and the number of their designated bus. This makes sure that every eligible child can travel safely in their own seat with a seatbelt.

“Overcrowding is unacceptable on a school service and where we have two buses operating the same route, might think about catching the ‘later’ bus, which can lead to one bus travelling half empty and the other at risk of being overloaded, so it’s vital that pupils catch their designated bus.”
