A house has been broken into in Deganwy and officers are warning about the threat of other break-in which they say can be minimised.
The Community Safety Unit says that the house on Llys Helyg was broken into as a result of the bi fold doors being smashed and the thief turning the key that was left in the door to gain access.
Officers are warning other local residents to be aware of the theft and not to allow thieves easy pickings by leaving keys in the door, especially those that can be seen from outside the property.
Various items were stolen from within. Residents are asked to share information about the burglary with neighbours are report any suspicious behaviour.
