New cases of COVID-19 have increased significantly in North Wales according to the latest from Public Health Wales.
As reported earlier on Bayside, infections appear to moving eastwards along the coast with Flintshire reporting 70 new cases today. Conwy has another 27 cases and Denbighshire 24.
Elsewhere, Gwynedd and Wrexham has 20 new cases in both counties and Anglesey has 2.
Overall in Wales there has been 484 new cases reported with a significant number in Cardiff and Swansea.
Once again there has been no new deaths reported although there are fears that a significant increase in cases will inevitably lead to fatalities and serious illness.
Over the past 7 days Conwy has led Wales with 91.3 COVID-19 cases per 100,000 of population, followed by Denbighshire with 77.3.
In response to rising cases, Conwy County Borough Council has made lateral flow tests available for collection at leisure centres in Colwyn Bay, Llandudno and Abergele and at Hwb yr Hen Ysgol in Llanrwst.
