Pedestrian is seriously injured after collision in Beaumaris

A woman has been seriously injured following a road traffic collision in Beaumaris earlier today.

Officers were notified of a road traffic collision on Castle Street involving a car and a pedestrian just after 11.30am. The emergency services attended, and the pedestrian was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd by ambulance.

Officers are appealing for witnessed and anyone with information to contact them.

Sergeant Duncan Logan of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit said: “We’d like to thank all those who have already spoken to officers at the scene. We know that Beaumaris was busy today due to the half term holiday, so we are urging anybody who may have witnessed the incident, or anybody who may have been travelling along Castle Street and who may captured anything via their dash cam footage to contact us immediately.

“The road remains closed to allow our teams to make their initial enquiries, and I would like to thank the local community and motorists for their patience.”
