Police update Bayside on busts in Colwyn Bay and Rhos

North Wales Police have updated Bayside following coordinated drug busts in the area earlier this week.

After receiving information regarding the supply of class A drugs in the communities of Colwyn Bay and Rhos on Sea, eight search warrants were executed on Wednesday, and a number of items of evidential value were seized, including class A and B drugs, cash, scales and other drugs related paraphernalia.

A number of people have been and, over the course of the next few weeks, will be helping officers with their enquiries.

Sgt Adam Sergeant said: "The problem of heroin and crack cocaine dealing, along with the misery it spreads, is a community problem that we need your help to solve, and I'd like to thank the public for their assistance on this occasion.

"If you have information regarding possible drug dealing, please share it with us using CrimeStoppers on 0800 555 111, or with your local officers via 101 or our live webchat facility.

"These investigations take time, however the more information we have, the faster we can act and put an end to this activity, which disrupts our community and puts our children and vulnerable people at risk."
