Popular Penrhyn Bay park gets springtime makeover

Work will start soon to make improvements to Princes Green Park in Penrhyn Bay.

Conwy County Borough Council have reported that this work will include creating wider footpaths and installing better lighting.

Subject to weather, the work is expected to start on Monday 22nd February and end around March 19th.

During the work, most entrances to the park will be closed: Steps from Penrhos Drive, Bryn View Road, Garden Drive, Chip shop car park. However, the footpath from Llandudno Road to Bryn View Road will stay open.

Contractors are expected to install a new fenced play area in Spring but to prepare for this, the existing play equipment will be removed at t the same time as doing the footpath work.

The council apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.
