Public Health Wales has once again reiterated the importance placed on staying at home following differing advice given to residents in England.
Whilst not drawing on the specifics of the Prime Minister's address, Dr Giri Shankar, Incident Director for the Novel Coronavirus outbreak response at Public Health Wales, said that in Wales that there were minor changes to excercising in Wales and to adhere to local activity at all times.
“The Welsh Government announced on Friday that lockdown arrangements will continue in Wales for a further three weeks, with minor adjustments so people can exercise more often, and to allow garden centres to open if they can comply with social distancing.
Over the past 24 hours, 105 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Wales with 7 in Conwy and 4 Denbighshire.
Total deaths in Wales stand at 1,032 up 16 in the past day.
“Public Health Wales continues to support the implementation of the Critical Workers Testing Policy to make sure we use the current testing capacity in Wales to the full, ensuring we test the right people, at the right time, in the right place, to reduce the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
