Work has begun to repair the road and footpath at the West Shore end of Marine Drive in Llandudno.
The popular scenic route around the Great Orme was damaged during February storms, with a landslip and rock falls making the road unsafe.
Access for residents of Marine Drive and customers of the Rest & Be Thankful Café and The Lighthouse is via a two way system with traffic lights from the pier end, but there is no through route around the Great Orme.
“We’ve prioritised these repairs to get Marine Drive fully open by Easter,” said Cllr Greg Robbins, Cabinet Member for Environment and Transportation. “We understand it’s inconvenient for residents to have the road closed, but it is absolutely necessary to keep the public safe.”
