Former England international Jon Callard is supporting both the Senior Academy and SRC groups in preseason as they prepare for the upcoming Super Rygbi Cymru season.

Callard, who was brought up near Newport, South Wales, enjoyed a distinguished career with Bath amassing 2,087 points in 210 appearances whilst also being capped by England.

Alun Pritchard, General Manager at RGC, said: "Jon has coached at Bath, England Academy and Leeds Tykes. He is supporting the coaching of the RGC Senior Academy and SRC team, where his experience and insight will be invaluable as we continue to develop and invest in the next generation of north Wales rugby talent."

Callard's coaching involvement will strengthen the pathway for our young talent, as he contributes to the ongoing development of academy players and supports the SRC team in the lead up to the opening game at home versus Cardiff on 13th September.
