Roads flooded and trains cancelled after downpours

Heavy rain has already caused travel issues and flooding across North Wales today.

The Met Office issued warnings for parts of North, Mid and South Wales from midnight last night and will keep the warning in place until 3pm.

Many parts of Gwynedd have experienced flooding including serious flooding on the A487 at Nasareth.

A serious flood alert has been issues for Riverside Terrace and the A499 in Pwllheli. River levels are continuing to rise posing a threat to residents, businesses and properties in the area

Services down the Conwy Valley line between Blaenau Ffestiniog and Llandudno Junction were cancelled at the start of the day and it is expected that disruption will be experienced for the remainder of Monday.
