A house fire has broken out in Blaenau Ffestiniog in the early hours of this morning, resulting in one person being taken to the hospital.

The living room was completely destroyed by the blaze.

Three fire engines responded to the incident with two trucks attending from Blaenau Ffestiniog and one from nearby Betws-y-Coed.

The location of the property is not known at this time.

North Wales Fire says the cause of the fire was determined to be accidental, and the fire was fully extinguished by 3.15am.
