Midfielder Sion Edwards has left Colwyn Bay FC to join Bangor 1876.
Sion joined the Bay during the summer of 2019 from Porthmadog ahead of our return to Welsh football.
He started his career as a youngster at Wrexham but made his name at Bangor City, with whom the club won the Welsh Premier League title.
Bay manager Craig Hogg said: “We are disappointed to see Sion leave but totally understand his reasons for doing so.
“Sion has been a great servant to the club since he joined us on our return to Welsh football and that won’t be forgotten on us.
“Sion feels that the considerable impact and intensity of Tier 2 football has taken a some toll on his body, especially with the nature of injuries he’s had this campaign.
“At his age he feels it best to step away from this level. He will be a miss for sure but I really wish him well.
“It’s been a privilege to work with him and I do wish him all the best with the remainder of his career."
