Storm Éowyn: Amber warning for fierce winds in North Wales

Tomorrow some parts of the country will experience gusts of up to 90mph, posing a "danger to life" according to the Met Office.

The worst of the weather is expected overnight and into tomorrow morning, with widespread disruption anticipated due to the very strong winds.

A red weather warning has been issued for Storm Éowyn, with power cuts, travel disruption, and potential damage to buildings and homes likely.

North Wales will be under an amber warning from 6am to 9pm tomorrow, whilst further North and into Ireland, winds are expected to create havoc throughout much of the day.
