As part of the Make Good Things Happen initiative, free seeds are available this week. to customers at Morrisons in Colwyn Bay.

This week across the country the supermarket will be giving away 2.5m sunflower seeds to customers, in a bid to spread a little sunshine and cheer. Just head into store and pick up for free pack at the till.

Morrisons' Community Champion Rose Morgan is the person behind this fantastic idea. She wanted to find a way to spread a little hope and happiness to the community, and sharing sunflower seeds is a fantastic way to do just that.

Seeds hold so much potential, and in Rose's words, "From small acts of kindness, good things can and do happen".

The free seeds are subject to availability in store - just look out for the display unit 'Seeds of Hope' to get yours.
