Llandudno and North Wales have new celebrities who are making a big impact on the world stage and TV and newspapers can't get enough of them!
The Great Orme goats or as they are now fondly known, The Bleatles, have featured on newspaper covers around the world and yesterday they were the stars on the front cover of the New York Times.
In these uncertain times, video and pictures of the goats taking over the town have made people smile all over the world.
Many news channels worldwide have ended their bulletins with news of the sprightly gang who are being increasingly seen roaming after Llandudno locals and visitors have stayed at home.
Amongst the many international celebrities worldwide who have taken the goats to their hearts include talk show legend Ellen DeGeneres who tweeted that Llandudno is the first place she's visiting once the Coronavirus pandemic is over. She attached an article from ITV Wales News which made the national headlines earlier this week.
Comedian Jason Manford, who recently starred at Venue Cymru also tweeted pictures of the gang and Coleg Llandrillo got in on the act on April Fools Day to say that the goats had roamed onto their Rhos-on-Sea campus. Stories have gone far and wide to cheer up many people across the world.
Jim Jones, Managing Director of North Wales Tourism got in on the fun and briefly changed the name of the worldwide advertising campaign for Go North Wales to Goat North Wales, in a gentle play on words.
Whilst visitors can't come into the town at the moment due to the lockdown, the Great Orme goats have really given the area a big boost, made people laugh and put the town on the map across the world.
Well that's certainly what we've 'heard'...!
