Drag star 'The Vivienne sadly passed away at the age of 32 from a cardiac arrest caused by taking ketamine.

The popular performer's family confirmed the cause of James Lee Williams' death and said they plan to work with a substance abuse charity to raise awareness about the dangers of the drug.

James gained international fame after winning RuPaul's Drag Race UK in 2019 and struggled with drug addiction which was openly discussed in the past.

James had a life growing up in North Wales and was a former pupil of Rydal Penrhos School in Colwyn Bay.

A full inquest into their death will take place in the summer.
